Maya · V-Ray · Product Visualization
Full product visualization — modeled from the ground up in Maya 2022, with a cloth-simulated blanket.
Project Overview
The Dorel Living Reva Accent Chair — built entirely from scratch in Autodesk Maya and rendered in V-Ray.
Every component of the chair was modeled to manufacturer proportions, with stitch and seam detail carried through for macro close-ups. Fabric shading was built using PBR maps from Substance Painter, combining a tileable weave texture with V-Ray Fur for the fringe.
The blanket was draped using Maya's native cloth simulation system — simulated, then refined for a natural, settled look that reads well in studio lighting. Final output is 4K, lit in a neutral white studio setup for catalog and e-commerce use.
Final Render
Beauty shot — neutral studio lighting, 4K output. Blanket draped via Maya cloth simulation and refined for final composition.

The LR Home Fringe Tufted Geometric Throw was simulated using Maya's clothing system — draped over the chair geometry and settled to a resting state. V-Ray Fur handles the fringe edge detail.
