Character study built in Autodesk Maya with custom PBR textures from Substance Painter and rendered with OctaneRender. The goal was a menacing silhouette and tactile surfaces suitable for close-ups—horn keratin, leather armor, and scarified skin—while keeping a clean topology for rigging and pose tests.
Inspired by the Tiefling race from Dungeons & Dragons.

Concept art — mood and proportion passes
The brief: an evil warrior—fearless, cruel, and fast. For attitude and posture I referenced Baraka (Mortal Kombat); for agility and occult flavor, I leaned into Tiefling motifs. Armor breakup favors fast reads with a few high-frequency details reserved for hero angles.
Rigging in Akeytsu — lightweight biped with facial controls.
